MASTER is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language activity thrill ride movie coordinated by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who additionally composed the screenplay with Rathna Kumar and Pon Parthiban. The film stars Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, with Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in supporting jobs. The film rotates around a drunkard teacher, J. D. (Vijay), who requires a three-month showing position in an adolescent home, which is constrained by the odious Bhavani (Sethupathi). 

The film was dispatched under in August 2019, though head photography started in October 2019 and finished in February 2020. Shooting occurred at Delhi, Chennai and Karnataka. The music is created by Anirudh Ravichander, while cinematography and altering are performed by Sathyan Sooryan and Philomin Raj separately. Initially dispatched under the conditional title Thalapathy 64, the authority title Master was declared on 31 December 2019. 

Expert was at first made arrangements for dramatic delivery on 9 April 2020, yet was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The creators of the film liked to sit tight for a dramatic delivery, as opposed to delivering it on any over-the-top media administration. In the wake of being postponed for a while, the film was delivered in performance centers on 13 January 2021, a day prior Pongal. The film got blended surveys from pundits.
